When Adam talked about the last gig, that is really heart-wrenching to see. I love Beastie Boys and this is partly why.

Heartfelt look into the band from when they first became friends to their final gig, filled with hilarious and interesting stories and footage throughout a really enjoyable live-documentary.

I wish they would've spoken about "To The 5 Burroughs" & 'Hot Sauce Committee." Especially why the 2nd part of Hot Sauce hasn't been released.😵

Some really great insight into a band that I’ve loved for many many years. Here’s to finding the weirdos and sticking with them.

Was a bit weird to see them trying to be cool in a scripted well rehearsed stand up with the lack of spontaneous moments.

Great doc! I will always love this band. Watching this I learned so much more. I laughed, I cried. This band will continue to be super influential for generations to come. Their success story is one of a kind!

[Apple tv+] The recording of the show offered by Mike D and Adam Horovitz about the history of the Beastie Boys unfolds without great surprises, on an empty stage with a screen that projects images of the group. It works as a stand up comedy, but with a traditional and low risk narrative. The anecdotes seem more scripted than totally truthful, in a very monotonous version of the music world background.
