This is the most beautifull act of worldwide love i've ever seen. It is moving to see that that there is such beauty in this world!
TEARS. i couldn't control my emotions with this one, very well made documentary
Generosity is the first step for volunteering. Incredible real story.
Need a Xanax after watching that even the second time around.
The geopolitical events of the last decade have left me feeling very pessimistic for the future. _The Rescue_ is not just an incredibly engaging and emotive documentary, but a beautiful example that despite our differences humanity can unite for something greater.
Imagine yourself doing something so mundane that no one pays attention to. Just to one day be the reason some get to live. These divers are quite something. And props to the Thai government for accepting international help and admit they don't have enough expertise. I know if this had happened in some other countries, the kids wouldn't have had a chance.
A documentary that holds you from start to finish. Very interesting to see a compilation of all the records of the events in a tense narrative that involves the entire film.
This is a stunning true story of human spirit and determination. When 12 kids were trapped in a Thai cave for 18 days, the world watched in horror. The rescue team's bravery and ingenuity turned a nightmare into a miracle. Gritty, emotional, and unforgettable.
[Disney+] The battle for the rights to a heroic story (National Geographic got the rescuers exclusive and Netflix the rescued ones), prevents us from having a complete version of the story. This documentary makes good use of its resources, although it offers a partial vision. The directors bring suspense and emotion, and also closeness to this group of underwater cavers overwhelmed by the success of their efforts.
I heard the story in passing but didn’t realise that it was this intense! Really enjoyed this one.
