Deep Blue Sea 3

Dr. Emma Collins and her team are spending their third summer on the island of Little Happy studying the effect of climate change on the great white sharks who come to the nearby nursery every year to give birth. Along with the last two inhabitants of this former fishing village, their peaceful life is disrupted when a "scientific" team led by her ex-boyfriend and marine biologist Richard show up looking for three bull sharks who we soon learn aren't just any bull sharks.

It connects with 2 and 1, it is better than 2, I liked it, although the fact of starting to fight with sharks nearby and the thing sinking instead of shooting it, ufff

I found the first half of this to be somewhat decent with a setting far away from dark underwater labs, more time spent on establishing characters and somewhat interesting pseudo-science (+some gym bros playing "Depth" IRL)... but as things tend to go the usual dumb stuff starts to piles on... Not quire the redemption it could have been. (And not that I spent to much time thinking about it but there are probably quite a few plotholes in this too.)

Slightly less horrid than DBS 2. Way better acting for the most part, but not without its share of dumb.

Better than the second one! Some fun kills, good shark action and the third act was enjoyable. It's overly long though and the intelligent shark thing is getting tired. Characters are steriotypical but they have some charm. The shark effects are either surprisingly good in some scenes or atrociously bad in others. The intense Kung-Fu fight was the best part of this, so ridiculous... and the final action sequence is memorable.

Could not watch this one till the end, not worth your time in my opinion.
Better than 2 but something is still not there.

considering this movie is supposed to be about killer sharks, we get very few appearances by sharks. most of the plot is taken up by a bunch of scientists living on an artificial island, doing something to fight climate change. yes' thats right, climate change, as if we don't get lectured about it enough already

I like how hollywood make global warming/climate change a thing so dumb people can relate with some narrative of everyday and keep believing they are smart just because they care.... How about make supervilains and explain the super powers due to climate change... People sure will buy it .. keep hammering millenial's bad written stuff ,I love it.....

Actually I liked the movie, good story, good characters and acting. Much better than DBS 2.
