Clown in a Cornfield

Quinn and her father have just moved to the quiet town of Kettle Springs hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she discovers a fractured community that has fallen on hard times after the treasured Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burned down. I had a ton of fun with this movie. I knew nothing about it and there are some nice twists and reveals. Love all the vibes this brings and it made me laugh out loud at one point. Shout outs to Eli Craig, back in Tucker and Dale form

A fun slasher movie, that while not bad, does not stand out from other similar movies. Once I would like to see how it would look like when intelligent people face agains a killer, but not this time.

Clown In a Cornfield was a really dumb movie and wasn't scary in the slightest bit, but I did think it was entertaining and it had some cool sequences. I'd probably give it a 7.5 or 8/10

I’m completely unfamiliar with the books this film is based on, but I went into this almost completely blind and had a good time. ‘Clown in a Cornfield’ doesn’t do anything new with the horror genre (in fact, it follows a lot of horror tropes throughout its hour and a half runtime), but it manages to be a very fun time at the movies. Genre fans should definitely check it out.

68/100

Was expecting more considering the Directors previous work, this concept should've been perfect for his style. But the humor didn't connect, and this ended up as mediocre slop, easy to watch and digest. Worth a watch if you can turn off your brain.

TWO STARS
The title lies. It’s Clowns in the cornfield. Plural. And everyone’s in on it.
What starts as a dumb slasher turns into MAGA cosplay with monologues about hobos, hippies, cat videos, and taking “responsibility for your actions.”
It’s Amateurville: Population Entire Town.

But then…
Enter Vincent Muller—super tall, super gay, super redneck Rust—who storms in late like a queer deus ex tractor. The moment he and closeted Cole kiss? Elevated.
Suddenly, we’re rooting for the lovers and forgetting the killer clowns.

Final kill? Electric cattle prod down the sheriff’s throat.
Final scene? Classic Beetle, clown on the windshield, wipers on. Glorious.

Who is Vincent Muller? Find him. Cast him. Put him in everything.

Crafted with Hudson—cinema’s blood-spattered cleanup crew, cornfield crier, and scoutmaster for breakout queer rednecks. Check it out at OpenAI.com
