I absolutely adore Blackpink, these are 4 women who are so hard working and talented yet always get made fun of and attacked by the internet. This documentary was so sweet and really gets you into the world of BP and is unafraid to talk about the harder aspects of being so famous as an idol. I loved every minute of it and I wish it was longer!! especially the ending scene with the girls talking together about their future, that made me tear up a little bit. Fantastic job from the director! I highly recommend this even if you aren't a BLINK

I believe this documentary can bring the right attention to the group. I'm not a fan of theirs but I appreciate their songs and I find them all very nice.
I had never stopped to read their stories or get interested in their life before debuting. All have had different paths that have led them to be friends, to be a good group.
I recommend the film to understand how their success is not taken for granted, how they are committed and what they have.

It’s an endearing documentary. However, I don’t think they intended or realised just how depressing some of it came out like when they were making it.

The girls are incredibly talented and so sweet, but there’s so many walls they still hold around them. There’s definitely a specific image they want to convey - “we work hard but ultimately we love it”, but we barely ever get to see them loving it throughout. A documentary like this usually works towards revealing the humans behind the performers and lead you to connect, and I still couldn’t do that.

They’re very much carefully polished diamonds - perfect faces, slim bodies and perfectly agreeable personalities - or at least that’s what this documentary shows. There were, though, a few moments that felt truly genuine - like jisoo with her makeup artist friend, or the ending scene - and those are the ones that stood out the most to me... Just wish there had been more.

It is very well made and the girls are very sympathetic but as someone who is no a fan the only really interesting part was how they trained and how they were selected to be in the group. There is not a lot of story there afterwards. I feel like there will be in the future but it is just too soon to make this documentary.
Will be there for part 2 in 10 years.

Honestly I found this very sad. They're so popular, have all the resources and talent to live a very happy high quality life. But bound to their commitments being unable to sleep, make own choices, have opinion, live a free life.
