First of all, I'd like to start my review by mentioning that I'm a cisgender woman, so this is not my place to talk, so I do it with much respect. I don't have much knowledge about Drag Queens, so I might say the wrong things, too.
The movie is like any other dance movie. Frustrated dancer needs a new start and founds passion for something they'd have never expected. I personally really enjoyed the movie. I think it was fun and the colors and music made it even more fun to watch.
Talking about the respect and more; I found it a really progressive and respectful. They never ridiculed drags or anything around them. I feel like they captured great relationships within the club and they made it seem real.
I'm conflicted about the politics of a woman being able of being a drag queen, so I hope someone can teach and correct me, but since it all seems coming from such a respectful place, I didn't mind.
Overall, it was a good movie. It's one of those fun and light movies to watch when you're bored or don't want to think, so don't expect anything heavy or big drama. I really enjoyed it and I hope you do too.

I almost fell asleep. Was expecting it to be fun, but it turns out more like an emotional documentary
