I just loved it! It felt like a Dexter episode or a chapter in Hitman. A movie to remember with a very special take on the hitman theme.
_The Virtuoso_ is an enjoyable twisty under the radar mystery/thriller. It's greatest success is in it's tight focus on the characters and the setting, which don't become swallowed in overly grand schemes. It has hints of Malcom Mackay's _Glasgow Trilogy_ and Max Allan Collin's _Quarry_ series (both are highly recommend if you enjoyed this film).
I don't regret giving a hour and three quarters of my life to this film. Entertaining.
Not a great movie but not terrible. Anson Mount is always a pleasure to watch. The script is not very inspired but it's acted well. The twist at the end is very predictable, overall a decent watch.
I would love to see a cut of the film without the narration, I feel like it cheapens the performances.
damn good movie. buy todays standards. its a good mystery thriller. i like these kinds of movies better than action. they make you think
Started out liking it but so predictable. If this guy is so skilled how does he get so easily tricked?Crap ending saw it coming very disappointed
A fair movie, a little slow for my taste but all in all ok. Good cast, acting and directing. The cinematography was above average.
A good story line pretty well told. If there was more action I would have rated it higher.
Once again, not a great movie but OK. I did know (not 100%) what White River referred to, and the general outcome of the movie very early on. But it was still enjoyable to watch.
One thing I've noticed lately is there have been a lot of narrated movies in 2021. Weird.
How I rate:
1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too
9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
What do you call a thriller without any thrills? Er...
The Virtuoso has one neat twist (and one you will see coming) but the film is pretty lame despite the presence of some good actors.
