Blink Twice

When tech billionaire Slater King meets cocktail waitress Frida at his fundraising gala, he invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. But despite the epic setting, beautiful people, ever-flowing champagne, and late-night dance parties, Frida can sense that there’s something sinister hiding beneath the island’s lush façade.
This film is like stepping into a gilded cage… it looks beautiful, but when the doors slam shut behind you, you're trapped. (Naomi Ackle) Frida and her friend are invited to a luxurious island getaway by the enigmatic tech billionaire Slater King. As they immerse themselves in the island's opulence, they begin to realize that something isn't quite right. There's something about Channing Tatum's Slater that's both intriguing and unnerving. He's got this effortless charm that's like honey laced with poison…you know he’s trouble, but you can't stay away. The way he interacts with Frida is both fascinating and unsettling. The island setting is straight out of a luxury brochure, but it's also claustrophobic and menacing. Kravitz's direction expertly ratchets up the tension, making me feel like I'm right there with Frida, trying to piece together what's happening. It slowly builds unease, making you question everything… the characters, their motivations, even your own reactions. Naomi Ackie is phenomenal as Frida, bringing a perfect blend of vulnerability and determination to the role. If you're in the mood for a psychological thriller that'll keep you on the edge of your seat…this is it.
