It's pretty rare to find a movie that feels as original as this movie. There is a bit of a gimmick to the movie and maybe the best thing that I can say about the movie is that they didn't let the gimmick get in the way of the story. We've seen movies like this that try to play it as a comedy and it almost never works. There is a sweetness to the movie that is palpable.

I can't say I _disliked_ watching this movie but I'm definitely very puzzled about what I'm supposed to take from this. I thought it was supposed to be a romantic comedy, which I guess is true except that the two main characters are absolutely awful to each other and to other people around them. At the very least, it's interesting to watch Cotillard & Canet in their early stage as actors...
