AWESOME movie some videos are a tad boring but still SOLID!

I saw this movie a while ago, I'm watching it on a YT video and I'm going to base my commentary on that.

The first story with the succubus girl, I liked it because they were so horny they got caught in the shit, like they got caught in the end hahaha. 7.5/10

the third story, it was good how to get revenge does not come out as you expected, and that sacrificed people to achieve it I liked it, but I love that I did not achieve the Glitch came out victorious ajajajaaja.8/10

the fourth story, makes the girl believe that she is crazy or that something is happening to her, being that he is the culprit of that, that they are aliens but that they are not shown as always (or at least I think so), I like it, and they end up showing that he will continue doing it hahaha.7/10

I like it,and they end up showing that he will continue to do it hahaha.The fifth story,they arrive at the house and literally start cheering for the sacrifice hahaha,imagine if it were true you arrive and start cheering for a murder hahaha,the possession and the fact that they decided to help was a stupid decision but it is a movie,the fact that in the end they were killed by a train was...
there is an alternate ending where they escape,good.7/10

and the main story about the tapes was good that they disappeared one by one I liked it, and what kind of zombie is he, he manages to be stealthy and play dead haha what a good movie.

I think we can all agree that found footage films can be hit or miss, and the genre has been done to death. However when you come across a movie with a unique premise you gotta sit there and watch. Were all of them high quality? No, but were they good for what they are? Yes! Give this film and it's sequel a chance. But whatever you do don't see VHS Viral.... And don't turn off the lights!!!

I rewatched this movie now after seeing it for the first time when I was 15 or 16. At that time I probably didn't quite understand the connections, which is why had the opinion, that this movie was nothing special.

However, I have to say that the film surprised me the second time around and that's also the reason why I try to avoid spoilers!

The movie showed me once again why I am such a big fan of found footage stuff, and also why this type of content is an art in itself.

Not many directors and visual artists manage it with such a film (with all the camera movements), to convey the feeling that there are hardly any (noticeable) cuts and then to practice such realistic and good visual effects.

Especially the first tape gave me chills and even went so far that I actually had problems watching further, [spoiler] when the face of this bird/demon woman was shown. [/spoiler] I hardly ever had such chilling feelings by watching horror movies.

Towards the end, the film unfortunately flattened out a bit more and became a bit less interesting

Still a worthwhile experience right up to the end, and in my opinion the film deserves a higher rating.

Good for a Saturday night scare flick with the family. It's not exactly Citizen Kane....but it's not trying to be either.

Quality of stories is very variable but the better ones are excellent

This movie was kinda interesting, its basically a collection of short strange horror things but in a found footage style, if you like that style you should definitely give this a shot. Some of the stories were genuinely quite well executed. I guess you could say it fits in the old school 'Tales from the Crypt' formula to an extent too.

Almost gave this a 6, then remembered it's found footage so I have to like it.

But it's also an anthology film, which means I don't have to like liking it.

If the climaxes of the individual shorts were as good as the set ups, _V/H/S_ (which, in this movie stands for "men are **V**irtually **H**undred percent **S**cumbags") might've been a horror classic.

At it is? Well, at least it's found footage.

I hoped I would be more terrified after what I'd been hearing about the movie. A little bit disappointed by that. And I felt unsatisfied with the ending. I thought there would a clear connection between all these tapes. It felt a little pointless. But most of the segments (tapes) were really good though, on an individual basis.
