Great cast and an unexpected great story. Denzel Washington is again giving a wonderful performance of a flawed character.
Gotta love John Goodman :)

Since "The Great Debaters" Denzel career has taken a turn into the more action oriented films, holding his great acting talents back for a while. But finally Denzel has come back to what he does best..serious acting. "Flight" is a very well acted film with a great story, and very good directing. Robert Zemeckis and Denzel deliver a film with a very realistic tone and a very good moral. The supporting cast of John Goodman,Don Cheadle and others make the film as real as we can get. If you are into drama then you will love this film, if not well.. watch Transformers or something else.

I had no idea what type of movie this was when I sat down. For some reason I was thinking this was more focused around an actual "Flight" without a plane. This was not the case. 99% of the movie takes place on the ground and it a bunch more of a legal character drama. Solid film, happy to have finally gotten around to it and had my misconceptions cleared up!
