Ex-soldier Frank Brayker is the guardian of an ancient key that can unlock tremendous evil; the sinister Collector is a demon who wants the key so he can initiate the apocalypse. On the run from wicked mercenaries for almost 90 years, Brayker finally stops in at a boarding house in New Mexico where — with the help of its residents — he plans to face off against the Collector and his band of ghouls, preventing them from ever seizing the key.

A wickedly fun horror comedy that feels like _Evil Dead_ from another dimension. It’s campy and high on energy but also super violent, giving you a nonstop entertainment. It finds a right balance between taking the situation just seriously enough, and latching on to dark comedic moments, with an interesting mythology and fun characters. Add to that fun creatures, gruesome gore and slime effects that never fail to please. Billy Zane's performance is delightfully over-the-top and he brings a ton of fun to the film. Also the soundtrack is great.

Billy Zane steals the show with a wannabe Beetlejuice like performance.

Watched off the back of a couple of recommendations, never seen the TV show or anything else related to it.. didn’t get the hype. Found it fairly comical, but a bang average flick at best.

Billy Zane is superb though, he portrays being a villain brilliantly.
