Worst movie about racism I have ever seen. Yuen is skeptical of Hollywood's audience theory but only gives two really week examples to refute it and of course she is a sociologist so she has no understanding of economics. McBride is a film critic like those people that give the lamest take possible on the extras track of your Criterion disc. Tamlyn just wants you to see the movies she was in. They spend the second half of this film talking about the Japanese interment camps then goes onto even more outdated arguments. One thing that would have really strengthened their argument is a cross cultural film comparisons between Hollywood and other movies studios overseas. Without that it seems more like a cherry picked hit piece.
