
Plan 75

In a Japan of the near future, the government program Plan 75 encourages senior citizens to be voluntarily euthanized to remedy a super-aged society. An elderly woman whose means of survival are vanishing, a pragmatic Plan 75 salesman, and a young Filipino laborer face choices of life and death.
Usually I more or less agree with the overall vote for movies here: even if different from the one I give, I can see its general value for an audience with different sensibilities. But for this one I think it's vastly underestimated. 62% at the time of this review makes no sense to me, that's a barely average movie.
My personal vote aside, I'd consider this a **76%** let's say.
This is a beautiful and soft movie, dealing with old age with delicacy through visual means and emotions rather than words - making it all the more effective. It's worth a watch and it's thought provoking in the best way
