Everyone Says I Love You

All you need to know about this movie:

1. Woody Allen sings!
2. Woody Allen hooks up with Julia Roberts!
3. Neither of these are as bad as they sound!

And yes that IS Natalie Portman....

I absolutely love Woody Allen movies, but I also hate musicals. I'm so torn.
To be fair, I like some musicals, but they are few. _Everyone Says I Love You_ is a full-on singing-and-dancing musical, and is the epitome of what I dislike about the genre.
Now there are still the charming Woody Allen moments here: there are laughs, people are either in love or trying to find it.
I have to say, the part that really made me laugh was when the family learned that the cause of their son Scott's conservatism was due to lack of oxygen to his brain.
Even though the cast is loaded with huge names, I really feel like most were miscast.
If this is the worst movie Allen ever makes, it's still pretty good. While, actually, _Bananas_ is still the worst. So, this is okay, but not for me.
If you like romantic musicals, give it a watch.
