The Prince of Egypt

Love this film! Great animation, background, story and characters!!! Dreamworks did a fantastic job on this old biblical story of exodus!

Music slaps, especially The Plagues. Animation slaps. Voice work slaps. Dynamic between Moses and Rameses slaps. Everything works. Major favorite of mine for the rest of my life.

This movie is beyond epic. Its masterfully done.

Fantastic animation, great cast, good songs. this one has it all.

Visually stunning! I think everyone who’s seen this movie remembers the sheer beauty of the splitting the Ocean scene. The music also incredible! The way they blend both historic elements and catchy tunes is just so good.

As someone who is very much not a believer in Christ or Christianity I do have to question, how would this story be different if told from the perspective of the Egyptians and how much of these events truly are historically accurate. Especially completely outside of Exodus in the Bible

Overall though as a child of the 90’s it’s always been one of my favorite movies, I definitely recommend a rewatch if you watched it as a child. Very fun to pick up on some of the Egyptian mythology and references. As an aside, I did not realize how many white American actors were involved so there’s that.

Story accurately: no clue but very American view of thinking

Just take a look at the cast. Unbelievable. Of course when I was a kid I had no idea who these people were but I knew the story of Moses and if you compare it to other biblical movies this was on a whole another level of quality. Beautiful animation, great music, stacked cast and they don't treat the audience like they are children. We need more of this.

A masterpiece made animation movie. This is definitely a Christian classic.

I can officially confirm the mid to late 90's was the golden age of animated movies.
