The Wages of Fear

Looks like a remake of the 1955 movie of the same name. Bit drawn out and over long. All in all not bad but not great, as the one brother makes the ultimate sacrifice to save everyone in the village.

Another poor Netflix movie.
So many mistakes in the movie. Acting was bad, classic example of overacting.

But I still had a blast watching this with my dad, we laughed a lot during this movie about all the ridiculous things.

The Wages of Fear (2024) - ❤x3

This is one of those movies where the original "The Wages of Fear (1953)" is 100 times better.

Sadly this remake almost tried to be like an episode of the Fast and Furious franchise, in the desert.
They even used a Dom look-a-like including the Dom scowl.
They also tried to incorporate some of the imagery of the original - but this remake completely lacks the palpable tension.

Skip this version and watch the original "The Wages of Fear (1953)" instead.
