The Bridge Curse: Ritual was so bad, it tricked me into thinking I'd liked the original because it was so much better than this. Of course I didn't like The Bridge Curse and I liked this one even less.

The Bridge Curse: Ritual is like a bargain basement tour of Willy's Chocolate Experience: it makes no cents.

Gone is the found footage experience of the original film (my favorite part, truth be told), gone is the comprehensible storyline we've come to count on when watching movies and even gone is the Bridge Curse. Surprisingly, this film does not contain the Creepy Pasta-esque tale of the cursed university bridge and the consequences hapless students face when they perform the forbidden ritual.

Instead we're presented with a new group of coeds who are testing a video game walkthrough they've built that they insist on continuing with despite the consequences they face when performing the new forbidden Creepy Pasta ritual (spoiler alert, it's the haunted elevator one).

What follows is a sequence of logically divorced scenes tied together by random characters and CGI heavy smoke screens so dense the viewer is too busy trying to figure out what's going on to be genuinely afraid.
