The usual suspects are very angry, again. The show is Amazingly good. Frankly it's the best MCU show since daredevil.

I’m honestly surprised by how many negative comments are popping up here. It seems like some people are upset simply because the lead is a Black woman, and the cast features a lot of Black actors—immediately labeling it a “DEI disaster.” But this show is actually based on the comics, and that casting is faithful to the source material.

I didn’t think the acting was bad at all. The story held my attention, and I really enjoyed the miniseries from start to finish. The action scenes were fun, and the CGI looked solid. I especially liked the AI character, Natalie.

Honestly, it’s far from the worst Marvel series—I personally enjoyed it more than WandaVision or The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

As someone who watched the first episode, I think it started off well. The script is classic, so you can guess, but if you like Marvel, definitely give it a chance. I'll write my opinion again when I watch all the episodes. Enjoy watching.

If you haven’t seen Ironheart yet I cannot recommend enough that you watch it ASAP before you see the spoilers. Not only is the show itself really good what it sets up for the MCU going forward is literally as awesome as when Fury shows up to tell Tony about the Avengers Initiative and when Thanos first appears at the end of Avengers. Just like those things did this sets up the entire long term future of the MCU, even beyond the Doom stuff they’ve already announced.

I love seeing all the negative comments, while the overall episode ratings are high... But what else do you expect from a Female/Person-of-Color led show these days, either of those gets a ding now, both is an automatic calling to be shit on by trolls.

Now, for people who actually watch this show, it was a really good show, it was interesting, with a whole new twist and backstory, very different than we knew.

2 villains, one of which I never knew of, but Red Hood was a very cool addition here.

Give this a shot, well worth it, plus great music!

Nothing can convince me that most of the negative reviews on this show aren’t from racist, women hating incels. I loved the show.

Exceptional. I don’t know what I expected, but it wasn’t a heartfelt black led story exploring the complexities of PTSD. Shot entirely in Chicago with largely talent from the city (shout out Shae), it really just slaps. The acting is believable, these characters feel real to me, but where this show shines is the relationships between the characters. This isn’t a massive action extravaganza, or a bunch a technobabble, it’s really about people and it just works. It reminds me a lot of Disney+ Daredevil in that regard. I also appreciate the respect given to the characters and their stories. The black characters get to simply exist and be, it’s not a show about gang violence in Chicago, it’s not about poverty or race disparity.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, also props to a miniseries god I miss them.

I didn’t know what to expect and honestly didn’t expect much. But I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed it. It’s a bit too much of a TV show and less like a movie than I’d like but I can say the same about some of the Marvel movies. I agree with a previous comment that the first couple of episodes are slow but it gets going and kept my attention. I even looked forward to the next episode. The conclusion left a lot of options for the evolution of the story so we’ll see what Marvel does with it.

I really liked Ironheart! I love her in the comics and Dominique Thorne portrays her perfectly in the MCU!
This show has really interesting concepts, mixing tech and magic, with good cinematography, sound and acting to boot.

There's a particular kind of person who is going to hate this show and I will never take any of their "criticisms" seriously. I do have a few critiques of my own though. I think the dialogue could be a bit tighter (some of Ronnie's dialogue in the last episode feels a bit repetitive) and the show suffers a little from its limited episode count pacing wise. I also hate Sacha Baron Cohen as a person so seeing him cast as such a big character going into the future of the MCU is disappointing, but not unexpected from Disney.

Otherwise I really like the tone the show takes on! Natalie is so charming but eerie at the same time, and Riri's arc going down a dark path is very intriguing. The two's dynamic really carries the show along with Riri's awesome suits. Thorne portrays Riri's PTSD very well so many of her scenes are genuinely heart breaking to witness.

Overall, a great show! Give me more Ironheart!
