Super cute and funny and inventive, looks really promising
This was an adorable, funny and witty Anime that was so worth the watch. The dialogue and hilarity of the situations presented truly drives this Anime to rise to the top.
Really adorable and funny, truly a comfort type of show. Warning that there's a weird siblings trope in there but it's easy enough to get through those segments, and it seems to me that it will be a future point of character growth.
Just sad the second season was so short with no major through line, but I'm very much looking forward to future seasons.
cutest thing i've watched so far

Fantastic anime, captivating characters and a story that's easy to watch. Super recommended for those who enjoy the genre.
Season 1:
Spy x Family wants nothing more than to provide some sweet, wholesome fun, and it is so darn good at doing just that.
I think this anime works so well because it has both a solid emotional core and a plot that reinforces said emotional core. The main storyline—a spy, assassin, and telepath living together under the guise of being a normal family—is so ridiculous and clever that it makes opportunities for humor and emotional growth not only believable, but seem almost inevitable. It also creates a lot of potential for tension and conflict.
The second half is a bit more of a roller coaster compared to the first. It seems like the show is still trying to find a balance between the overarching plot and its more slice-of-life nature, leading to uneven pacing and focus. But overall, the entire thing is still thoroughly enjoyable.
The best thing about this is I can see it becoming better and better as it progresses, because there is still so much more left to tell, both plot- and character-wise. I’m hoping for more character background in the future to flesh out our favorite family, and, of course, more character growth and relationship-building. I can also see the story becoming increasingly tense the further we get into it, with both the development of the mission and what happens after to think about.
This is the most adorable shit I have ever seen. I am an absolute sucker for the found family trope.
