Having read the "webtoon", I was hooked instantly. Seeing Jinwoo's story unfold as an anime, is the BEST. It progresses well throughout the chapters, nothing's missed and several chapters fit into one episode which is nice as some of the "filler" fighting scenes get cut down. I'm stoked to see the rest of this unfold in future episodes!

Believe the hype! The artwork, animation, and pacing for this show is absolutely elite. The animators have got to be big AMV fans, the way music was used in some of the pivotal fight scenes was just absolutely beautiful. If you enjoy action/adventure anime, and also enjoy AMV's, I can't think of a series that I would recommend more than this.

The MC for the series is great, he's definitely a completely different person from beginning to end....for better or for worse. My only minor gripe was that for his first big physical change, I really think they should have left the hair alone, and just changed his body. Changing everything all at once almost made him feel like a different person. The second time, his hair change was mentioned, but after the first change it was completely ignored.

You are fully locked in on the MC for this entire series. I guess an area they could improve would be fleshing out the backstories of the ancillary characters. I'm not even going to take a point off though, because of how well everything else is handled, and how much I enjoyed watching.

Def a solid watch that was super entertaining. However, the story and characters lacked depth. Not much went on for story/world building outside of the main character just leveling up way too fast, it would have been nicer to watch him slowly progress and get stronger. The fight scenes def made up for it and kept me sticking around. Hopefully more answers are given in the second season.

When I discovered the world of Manhwa this was the first one I read, I found its art and story incredible, I always liked this style of protagonist without mercy and with strength above their opponents and they managed to adapt it perfectly in this anime and even add things to add to it. the story in a spectacular way, they didn't spoil anything with their additions and as I said, the adaptation is incredible and the animation of the fights too, so fluid and understandable. There was just one event that they removed that I don't think was necessary, as it weighs heavily on the main character, but other than that, it's perfect. I'm looking forward to the next season, as I already know what's going to happen, but I want to see these events in animation. I can't forget to mention the wonderful soundtrack too.

So good I can't have enough of it!

Animation 10/10
Story (so far) 10/10
Character development (so far) 10/10

Ever since learning Japanese, anime was starting to get pretty stale for me....this show basically brought my desire to watch anime back. It's that good :)

Had a lot of hype to it when it started off and honestly well deserved, the show is an action packed thrill show with some unexpected layers to it. For the first season seeing Jinwoo story unfold with the right combination of story and fighting action kept the fillers to the minimum and they pretty much stuck to the Manga which isn't easy to pull off while keeping you on the edge of your seat with the animation and story.

Jinwoo is the only one going through the RPG leveling compared to anyone else and curious to see how it unfolds in Season 2, but for now this anime shouldn't be missed.

Season 2 - was out of this world, every episode knocked it out of the park, and the last two episodes had me at the edge of my seat with my blood pumping! One hell of an ending, each episode just out does the other, now we have to wait if and when they will air Season 3.

Impulsively decided to start reading the Solo Leveling light novel before I started watching this…

After reading the first six volumes, I am extremely excited for this. The light novel has already become one of my favorite series.

I hope this does the series justice and they are able to adapt it properly.

Took my time watching the second season (even though it’s still marked as one…) wanted to savor it all when it was complete. Once again I’m not disappointed and throughly loved it. I can’t wait to see what’s coming next unfold in animation.
