Season 1: An interesting blend of dark humor, sci fi, action, and drama. Just one too many plotholes to forgive. Overall it was fun and easy to get invested in.

Season 2: First half spends too much time on the pointless break-up in reverse. The second half just gets exponential more ridiculous and becomes extremely convoluted and hard to follow. The plot was lost.

Not sure if there needs to be a Season 3. I'd be happy to end it here. I still consider it a worthwhile watch for someone who enjoyed: Tenet, Fringe, Looper, Dark, Edge of Tomorrow.

i admit i hate temporal paradoxes, and i did love the way this show approached time travel. of course they had to go there in the last episode, that alone made me lower my vote.
damned temporal paradoxes! (angry pirate gesture)

One of the most surprising thrillers about time loops but also one of the most entertaining, thanks to its constant plot twists and the ability to reinvent itself throughout the season. Creator Joe Barton manages to come up with different proposals for time travel throughout the eight episodes, and when Episode 6 concludes with a very clear reveal for the protagonist, the story in the last two episodes becomes something other than what we had seen at first. Although a plot too parallel to the invasion of Ukraine and Russia's nuclear power has been removed, it manages to be convincing.

'The Lazarus Project' is a pretty flawed show about time travel, but somehow it kept me hooked; always wondering what's going to happen next. Keep in mind that there won't be a season three because of the cancellation. Though they wrap it kinda decent.

The show itself is really good. It deals with time travel - well, time loops to be more precise. Which is quite different from so many other time travel shows. This alone already makes it unique and different and worth the watch. My issue with the show is
the main character - initially I liked him - but then became very angered at his selfishness and how he ended up becoming one of the bad guys. I was not happy that the writers did that to me.
Sadly season 1 ended on a huge cliffhanger - can't wait for season 2, but writers/actors strike will push that out for who knows how long.

How I rate:
1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too
9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
