In any given year, more than 600,000 people are reported missing in the U.S. Of these reported cases, more than half of the missing people are people of color, too easily neglected by the system. Gabi Mosely, a former missing person herself, now specializes in PR and leads a crisis management team that seeks out these missing people. But unbeknownst to anyone, Mosely is hiding a dark secret of her own.

To those comparing this to Scandal… this is better than Scandal in my opinion.

Lead actress is the only con to the show. Otherwise, a very incredible & engaging show.

HUGE mistake canceling this show. It a fresh story and we'll done. Good acting, cast and director.

I have no clue to why this series exists...
the side story of why Gabi abducts her abductor, and keeps him chained in her basement, seems to have no motivation except revenge, which seems out of character for someone this invested in finding lost people...
that Gabi and Lacey, choose to refer to their abductor, as "Sir", despite being smart, capable and grownass women, seems illogical and asinine...
the entire premise is sketchy at best... and I don't see this being renewed for a season 2...

Found - ❤x6

The characters and their backgrounds are what make this show - the rest is just a basic procedural crime/mystery of the week.

How I rate:
1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too
9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!

I grew up watching procedurals like Law and Order, CSI, and many others, so I figured I would give this a try. The main star, Shanola Hampton, is the weakest link. She couldn’t act if her life was in danger. However, I’ve always loved Kelli Williams, and every other actor in this show is amazing, so it’s still a good show, but not great. The side story about “Sir” is basically eye-roll worthy, but Mark-Paul Gosselaar chews the scenery like every other good villain, so he’s another plus for this show. Watch it if you’re bored, don’t expect Shakespeare-level acting or plot, and you might enjoy it.

I abandoned this series, FOUND, after watching the first 7 episodes. It is an unimaginative, formulaic episodic drama (new missing person each week). I couldn’t connect with the lead character or how she deals with her trauma. It’s a shame because the supporting cast has some fine character actors from some of our favourite series of the past. I give this series a 5 (weak tea) out of 10. [Crime Drama]

The following episodes aren't as exciting as the first. Hopefully that changes.

Preachy, inconsistent logically, and I can't help but feel that real people who have have experience with abductions in their family would be HIGHLY offended by how easy this fictional character saves all these fictional abductees after 42 minutes. God forbid John Walsh ever waste his time with this show. It's less annoyingly preachy, and slightly better-written, than the horribly pandering Equalizer reboot, but not by much.

I do like a show that gives Brett Dalton the chance to be a hero that doesn't turn out to be a villain by the end.

A mediocre procedural with an irritating protagonist who never quite manages to justify his decisions. It starts from an interesting premise that becomes absurd when it turns the protagonist's traumatic past into an unlikely consultant to solve kidnapping cases that the police of course cannot solve. What other series like "Prodigal son" (2019-2021) resolve with more credibility, here is a script resource that is lost due to writing that is too lazy and weak, with one-dimensional and predictable characters. In the procedural aspect, it is as bad as the latest proposals are.

it's kind of a silly show but most procedurals are and i can suspend a lot of disbelief for them. also i love trent's actor thanks to agents of shield. i do wonder if this still would've premiered had it not been for the writer's strike though.

also gotta agree with everyone else - the notion that they'd just call him sir forever is laughable at least from the perspective of trauma recovery
