The very beginning of the first episode conveys feelings to me that I cannot describe in words. I think you can call it nostalgia for something I never experienced. I wonder if this was the same feeling of 90s kids while watching this show. If you come across this anime, please bear in mind that the adaptation covers just the first 4 volumes. The complete story is more nuanced.
