Shout out to this show for featuring a father figure that wasn't an absolute buffoon, unlike most sitcoms of it's day. I watched this all the time when it ran on Disney Channel in the early 2000s, I've been watching some episodes on Disney+ and I'm surprised at how well it holds up.

Smart Guy, like Fresh Prince, is a sitcom that I wish had got one more season. In Smart Guy's case, one more season so that TJ, Marcus, Mo, Mackie, and Co. could have had their graduating moment. The only problem in that is Yvette in college. I would rectify this with a fictitious local college, like Fresh Prince did ULA or Boy Meets World had Pennbrook.

This show is one of those ABC/Disney Shows my parents never saw but I know about it and I knew that the set was the same as Boy Meets World but ok
