When 10-year-old Ben Tennyson discovers a mysterious device, he gains the power to change into ten different alien heroes, each with uniquely awesome powers. A very well animated series indeed. Brings back memories from childhood. Quite nostalgic to re re watch this. Good characters, animation, plot, action and very well directed. Not for everyone. Those who like hardcore extremely serious contents can't enjoy this one. Instead those who can appreciate a fun comfy series with lots a action and a pretty good plot. This show definitely deserve a try.

**MY THOUGHTS ON BEN 1O:**

_**-WARNING: Spoilers Below-**_

Ben 10 will always be a classic cartoon. It honestly blessed my childhood and defined many years of it. I was only 5 years old when it came out and I remember the obsession I had with it, when I got my first mobile phone the Ben 10 intro was the ringtone for my phone. I absolutely loved it and I still do!

I decided to rewatch this just for a blast to my past and to reexperience what child me once felt. Usually when I do something like this I always regret it and end up not enjoying it near as much as I once did but this thankfully never happened with Ben 10. I still loved it and thought it was iconic. I still remembered every word to the intro and loved the characters like I once did (except Gwen, damn she is annoying.)

Surprisingly Ben 10 actually has a pretty damn good plot. It kept me intrigued enough as an older viewed to want to continue watching it all just to see how it ends and how it connects to later shows. Seeing how Ben matures throughout the show in order to battle Vilgax was surprisingly a treat. I'm really glad I returned to this.

Overall I'd say no matter your age you should try this show out. It's brilliant if you have younger children and if you're an older viewer and you're a big fan you'll love it just as much. The story is detailed enough to keep you interested and is extremely entertaining. I'm glad I revisited this, I'm definitely going to rewatch the other Ben 10 shows.

**Overall rating: 8/10**

It's alright. Nothing really groundbreaking aside from the Omnitrix gimmick. It's one of the most lighthearted Ben 10 animated shows in the series besides a few heartfelt moments. I'm watching Alien Force right now and so far I prefer it over the first one.

A solid 6 for me. Nothing groundbreaking, but a fine start to the series.

Edit: Alright watched some more of Alien Force and season 3 is even more stupid then some of the retcons. The original show at its weakest is still the better series.
