Always loved the show. The ending is just perfect.
Hard to be objective, as this show is pure nostalgia for me. Saw it first time in my teens, in the 90s, probably with a German dubbing. Still, compared to how bad the movie was (this is based on), or the remake (I could not force myself to watch more than a few episodes), this was just great.
Many memorable and quite original episodes. Especialy in earlier episodes, characters like Libby and Willard Kreaft completely stole the show, and I guess more people watched for Salem, than Sabrina. The very strong supporting cast, really made it great. Not that much in later seasons though, where they get rid of them, and the writing went right into the trash.
Still, worth a watch and better than most of the stuff that's released now. After multiple repeats, I'm always just surprised how bad of a person Sabrina is. The show tries to portray her as a saint, but that is just not what she is. Totally selfish, manipulative, vindictive psychopath, would be a more fitting description.

Really starts to lose the plot with the abrupt changes in later seasons, but starts out nicely enough. By the end I really was just watching for Salem.
I enjoyed this very much on its original run. So, when I got my hand on the show now, I thought I bring back some nostalgia. I am a couple of episodes into season one and I am not feeling it. Most of the humor I can't laugh about and the whole concept of a teenage girl dealing with teenage girl issues I can't relate to at my age. That says nothing about the show itself but I think I stop watching now and keep my good memories. The cat is still cool, though.
I remember this show fondly.Very funny.
I only remember the first few seasons from years ago when it aired on TV so I decided to do a rewatch/catch up beng watch.. and man do I regret it.
The last 2 seasons, it's like the writers gave up on the story, Sabrina barely uses her magic & don't even get me started on Harvey.. I wish I didn't do it, because now one of my favorite childhood shows was officially ruined.
Decided to give this show a watch for a nice dose of nostalgia. Unfortunately I was left feeling pretty disappointed. The first 3 seasons are what I remember from TGIF nights and they were a lot of fun. After that things start to go downhill. By the time the last season rolled around, the show was nothing but a shell of its original self. My 6/10 is probably a bit high but it gets extra credit for the good early seasons and that it was still some decent, light fun.
How freaking ADORABLE was Harvey??
Salem is the best idc
