A fresh start with Boruto, I remember watching the original Naruto over a decade and a half ago, it had its ups and downs but kept me engaged. You will always have your filler episodes but I for one still loved the anime. Now 2 generations later and we have Boruto, the spunkier son of Naruto the Hokage of Konoha.

Fun and light to start but as the episodes progress there is a slight dark undertone which you can always appreciate with the Naruto series. Lets hope there is less hope there are less filler episodes and more constant action. Can't wait for more episodes, up until this point it has been pretty damn good. If you haven't seen it then you should.

After 62 eps,
I can say that i´m liking the path that Baruto is going. At the beginning was boring and repetitive but nostalgia keep me around.

Let´s see if I don´t get disappointed.

An Ok but safe Sequel for Naruto fans. There is a warm atmosphere and Sometimes good animation but also No Plot, No Goals, No memorable Villains, too many boring episodes, No real Stakes, No character arcs, no Tension.

Bad plot. Bad characters. Bad soundtracks.
Naruto has had one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard so much so that I even cherish it today. But Boruto fails to connect with me on any level.
Plus Boruto I think is a spoiled person over all. Even if he overcomes all the spoiled nature. He still misses the warmth that Naruto created.
On the main note. There is no main story. No main villian. No goal that Boruto wants to achieve. [Just the usual I don't want to be in the shadow of my father]. As an audience you feel clueless why you are watching this except for the fact that you just want to see characters from Naruto Shippuden, which I think is not even there in the further episodes.
Disappointed.

It's naruto, except none of the suspense, none of the personalities, none of the relatability, none of the character development, none of the atmosphere, it is like pasta without a sauce, an insult to the original series, a mindnumbing (dare I say it?) cashgrab.
None of the advances in animation since 2002 is able to erase that difference, it is an utter pain to watch knowing what it could have been, and yes, I've seen all 239 episodes

Underrated show. I definitely didn’t like it at first. Slow to start but has one of the best arcs in anime. If you love naruto then you can’t not watch this.

As I'm writing this, the series is up to 179 episodes based on a manga that has only 48 chapters. Considering that 2 chapters make up one episode when going to anime, that means there's a lot of filler in this series, which was something that the pervious series was often criticized for.
