It was an alright watch, but nothing amazing. I wish it drove deeper into seeing the characters play the actual board games, instead of it just usually being one round of gameplay, and then some shots of specific points. I also wish the different plots introduced got a bit more time to shine instead of every single issue magically solved by one quick board game session.

It was on the boring side. The show is only centered around one topic and it's just the same thing in every episode with different board games. The last episode was a little interesting but that doesn't makes up for the entire series.
I won't recommend watching this show!

I liked the way the first episode sets up Mikki's character, it made me care about Mikki and want to see character find friends and happiness. Unfortunately the whole show starts to heavily invest in the board game gimmick which quickly turns the whole anime into one long boring farce. All the problems faced by each character is quickly solved by playing a board or card game for ten minutes. Problems with bullying and social anxiety, two 10 minute board game sessions. Your father has abandons you, a ten minute board game session then you re-council with each other. All the dramatic tension that each characters faces is wasted because after the first episode the viewer knows it is going to be solved with a 10 minute board game session. The subplot of this show which was Midori's dream of making a game which reaches it's conclusion in the last episode was such a let down for me the way it was done. I was hoping to have a proper conclusion to the anime but instead the show chose to show Mikki in the park having a psychotic breakdown talking to game cards and those cards talking back to her. Instead of talking to a licensed therapist this problem is yet again solved by a 10 minute card game.
