22/7 (nanabun no nijyuuni)

One day, Miu Takigawa suddenly receives a letter notifying her that she has been chosen as a member of a brand-new project. Half in disbelief, she heads over to the location stated on the letter. There, she finds seven other girls summoned there in the same fashion. The girls behold a giant, top-secret facility. They stand in bewilderment as they are told: "You are going to debut for a major record label as an idol group." A new kind of idol, never-before-seen, is about to be born here...
22/7 is a different take from the norm of idol anime ive usually watched which is just highschoolers going lets become idols! and their path to stardom. these 8 girls, some of them who never want to become an idol in the first place, were suddenly brought together to become a group. along the way we unlock their past, which reveal to us how the girls are as people, not idols. i shed many tears watching this and i really liked it. my only gripe with it
is the “wall” because it was a unnecessary plot device (they couldve just say that management is the one that wants them to do those things lol) and the ending was straight up creepy since it revealed that theyve been stalking these girls since they were young. they couldve kept it some red string of fate type BUT NOPE THEY HAD TO RUIN JT WITH THAT FUCKING RED ROOM.
anyways yea thats it i didnt regret watching this <3
