Looking forward to the third season. Excellent writing and these two have great chemistry.

Cute and cheerful little mystery show with not too much drama or romance (which is good IMO). Decent mysteries and likeable characters that are well developed. Deals at times with feminism, homosexuality and racism without feeling woke. The silly background score can be a bit annoying and cheesy.

It would've been a fun series if not for one glaring fault of its conception. The whole series' underlying theme is "proving the Duke wrong", so the character gets a lot of screentime, but boy is he a seriously annoying guy. No doubt, he is supposed to be annoying and self-righteous, but his character doesn't actually payoff in a significant change of attitude so every minute of him being on screen instead of other characters feels like a waste of ours and the lead female character's time.

I did not like either character. Both of them were annoying, Eliza moreso than the duke. The whole first season is just the duke telling Eliza not to do something and she goes and does it anyway. They both find themselves stuck, in need of help, and the other would always come to the rescue. The chemistry between the two characters is good. The show itself was quite boring. Even the crimes they had to solve were pretty boring.
