Operation Napoleon

Great movie. I hope they’ll make a sequel to show how Poland works out. :fingers_crossed_tone2:

I stumbled across this movie… and because I love the National Treasure movies, Indiana Jones movies… figured I would watch this one.

This is set in Iceland where in 1945 a Nazi plane crashes on a glacier and 70+ years later and the plane shows back up… and this secret CIA head wants what’s hidden inside… and this Icelandic lawyer is pulled into the intrigue because her brother and his friends find it first…

The acting is good and the scenery is beautiful… the movie does nothing new but it is a fun and good movie.

If you like the National Treasure Movies - then I think that you will really enjoy this one.

The typical movie around a McGuffin.

_Operation Napoleon_ is visually a good movie and the acting is decent.
But, the plot and its execution is appalling at times. Especially the first 30 minutes the movie goes through multiple phases where the story just jumps ahead and you can feel that - without having read it - entire chapters of the book are skipped. It's really hard for the viewer to build a connection to the characters because it's all so rushed and unexplained - and its not the "mysterious type of unexplained"... The second half of the movie is definately better but overall the plot is just not to my liking at this point. [spoiler]Two conspiracy theories (at best) are being mixed with one another and the way they exploited that felt really easy and "cheap". [/spoiler]

Doesn't matter what link I click.. it's in Icelandic, not dubbed into English. Wanted to watch a movie, not read a book.

Wow, what a film. Exciting from the beginning till the end. Great actors and a excellent story. Seen today in a sneak preview
