When hard-working single father Luke stumbles across an underground nightclub, he meets Aysha, a beautiful, seductive woman. Well, I loved this. Ben Hardy is brilliant but Jason Patel is equally great as Aysha, and the pair have excellent chemistry. I understand that queer films can often face criticism for their repeated focus on the queer struggle and conflicts with unsupportive parents/family, but the reality is that it's sadly still all too common. I found this a moving and ultimately uplifting film, full of rich performances. Will definitely be watching it again.
