I enjoyed this awesome movie

Always love the movies that motivates me to chase my dreams and goals. In fact, I got a business call at the end of the Movie!!

This turned out to be a great movie pick for a Sunday evening. Andrew Schulz makes a nice guest appearance. The movie is a very light hearted romantic comedy similar to those we used to love watching during the 90s and 00s.

I love me some Archie Renaux and Marisa Tomei

This movie is really very amusing from beginning to end and reminds me a bit of "Prada" in terms of style. _Marisa_ has always been a great actress, but _Camila_ surprised me very pleasantly! A clear recommendation for anyone looking for nice entertainment. Top!

The story:
The plot follows the classic romantic comedy recipe, where the heroine starts with a small white lie that quickly grows and spirals out of control. The idea itself is fun and creates some charming comedic situations, but it follows a very predictable path from the first scene to the end. There’s no attempt to break the mold or deliver surprises, making it a familiar and comfortable journey but lacking excitement and suspense.

Direction:
The direction mainly focuses on serving the story with a smooth and gentle style, maintaining the light pace of the film. The director succeeds in creating an enjoyable and easygoing atmosphere for the viewer, but without leaving a distinctive artistic mark or offering innovative memorable scenes. The direction is functional, accomplishing what is needed to make the film watchable but not elevating it beyond that.

Acting:
Acting is the backbone and strongest element of the film by far. Camila Mendes shines in the lead role, delivering a charming and natural performance that makes it easy for the audience to root for and empathize with her character. The appearance of veteran actress Marisa Tomei as the strict manager was a smart addition, bringing a special comedic touch in every scene she appeared.

Cinematography:
Visually, the film is beautiful and easy on the eyes. The cinematography uses bright colors and vivid lighting to reflect the dreamy atmosphere of the story and highlight the beauty of London and its art galleries. Every scene is designed to look elegant and appealing, perfectly serving the light romantic tone of the movie.

Conclusion and Rating:
In short, Upgraded relies completely on the charm of its lead and its pleasant ambiance. If you’re looking for a deep and innovative story, this film isn’t for you. But it’s an excellent choice for a calm evening when you want a fun, relaxing movie that doesn’t require much thinking.

Imagine a girl nobody knows, but she works at one of the biggest art auction houses

Anna is an ambitious intern dreaming of making it in the art world, while trying to convince her demanding boss Claire. When she is unexpectedly upgraded to first class on a business trip, she meets the handsome Will, who mistakes Anna for Claire — a little white lie that sets her on a new path. She struggles to belong while hiding her fabrications.

This is a romantic comedy, but not as silly as some in the genre. The film explores a story of rising up through tricky means. There's a saying, "A lie has short legs," and the movie literally embodies this meaning. The lead duo delivers convincing and great performances.

We also get glimpses into the world of auctions, showing how everything must be organized and precise down to the smallest detail.

Firstly I would like to point out that I really like the film "The Devil Wears Prada" it is one of my favorite Anne Hathaway films and this one had some very similar points like the main character Ana played by Camila Mendes, another one that I really like, who like Andy in “The Devil Wears Prada” he has problems in his personal life and seeks to impress his boss to grow in his career. So I think it was because they were very similar that I liked the film.

It was a good movie in a "generic rom com" kind of way. It wasn't cliche enough to make it so I would rather watch something else, but also wasn't unique enough to make me recommend this one when my wife wants to watch a rom com in the future.

An okay movie that'd have been more enjoyable if it wasn't so tropy. As it is, the cliché lies that last the whole movie made me cringe for the better part of an hour and a half, which is not what I was going for here.
Thank you Archie Renaux for being cute, Marisa Tomei for being awesome, and both for distracting me from the plot.
Movie should have ended at [spoiler]her being fired. Move along, enlist in the Navy and regret your lies for the rest of your life now please[/spoiler].
Also, can't you wait a couple minutes for the man to stop coaching ? He said it's the final fcking minutes.
