Inspired by Chris Marker's iconic 1962 featurette La Jetée; the year is 2073—a not-so-distant dystopian future—and the setting is New San Francisco, the scorched-earth tech-dominant police state where democracy and personal freedom have been well and truly obliterated.

A great concept but what a lame college graduate video not giving any solutions to this ever changing complicated world but a simple one sided view in each topic it is trying to convey

This is more a woke-doomsday documentary than a movie. They draw a very dark picture of the world as it is. They are certainly not wrong with many of the facts that they mention.
Though their conclusions are that we will end up in a Robocop (initial movie) world where Corporations and facists rule the world and most people are worth less than cockroaches. Well, they forget the mass of people are way more than the few powerful and that the soldiers and bureaucrats necessary for the powerful to stay in power also come from the people.
If you push the masses too far, they will revolt and bring the powerful down. See the French, the Russian or the Chinese revolutions for example.
So instead of drawing doomsday for those that are already of their option, it would be more intelligent to make a movie proposing viable solutions. And by the way, the EU, unlike the US or China, at least tries to limit the power of private corporations in order to avoid that they become overwhelmingly powerful.
Find the language to show Trump supporters that his way is the way to doomsday and show the woke that the have to wake up and deal with the real world if they want to solve the problems. Somewhere there in between is a viable path for the future of humanity. This movie is not it.

It offers a good reflection, but fails to discuss the themes raised by the film itself, which is a complete mess. And it is much more of a documentary than a fiction film. The idea was good, but it was poorly executed. They even waste Samantha Morton, who is an excellent actress.

This isn't a movie. It's a doomsday, runaway capitalism clip show. It's 80% telling you what you already know about how billionaires have bought the country and its government and the rest is a plot-less, dystopian circle-jerk.

Impossibly uninteresting. Don't waste your time, you won't want to finish it.

Nothing but a pile of lefty propaganda, what a pity, it looked quite interesting initially
