I loved this movie so much.
Beautifully honest plot. Great writing.
Dan Levy stars in this film about a man whose husband suddenly passes away, leaving him and his found family to grieve the loss and face some uncomfortable truths about themselves and their relationships. The 3 friends travel to Paris and find romance, art, and acceptance they didn't know they were looking for. (As a side note, the funeral scene had me sobbing 10 minutes in so be prepared for waterworks)
Dan Levy has a knack for creating genuine and heartfelt performances and this is no exception. I will say that this felt a bit slow, but a thoroughly enjoyed experiencing this story.

What a waste of onion soup
I've never seen any of Dan Levy’s work so this was a first. It's a fairly lovely movie, I was expecting it to be a lot more emotional than it was especially from what I saw in the trailer. Acts 1 and 2 were good but faded away in the third act.
Oh wow rich people get sad, too.
This film didn't really go anywhere, and it really was not a comedy.
The cast is great but the story should have trimmed out the needless subplots.
I watched this at x1.25 speed and it was still excruciatingly slow and extraordinarily banal.
A super sad story that I thought would bring me to tears, but it became a slow discovery of a dead husbands shitty secrets.
Was it just me, or were his friends absolutely horrible?! You would think after that many years that would be more supportive and extremely close. The girl was just a drunk mess that was a leech for his money, and then his other friend was getting mad over an understandable white lie… ugh. Idk they really annoyed me for how they treated him.
Anywaysss, it’s still a nice viewing, but not as emotionally sad as I had hoped it would be.
I loved this movie so much.
