God, it's been a long time since I saw a film so moving and emotional as this. Great performances. I wasn't able to hold the tears in my eyes when
he was walking alone after being beaten in the store, and being called a pervert. It was so unfair. I was literally angry at this scene.
I was not prepared for this.

extremely moving, as much as i want to hate klara, we have to remember that she was literally like 4, and it was technically her brother's fault all this happened. i mean like, who shows porn to their 4 year old sibling?

I was wondering why a danish film could get such high reviews.. after watching it, its no wonder at all.
Truly a gripping story which makes toys with your emotions throughout

A movie where you can’t really blame anyone for how they act, yet you still feel an intense amount of anger for their actions. You understand everyone’s reactions and feelings, yet the fact that that’s how it had to be was beyond tragic… Injustice is a part of life, and this movie once more shows how it can never not be; not only because it is human nature, but also because we are never able to know the truth in cases like this (when do you believe the child? when do you believe the man? how do you decide? and will that decision be the right one?). The whole thing was masterfully done and truly makes you feel the unfairness of life.

Look into my eyes. Look me in the eyes.
What do you see? Do you see anything? Nothing. There's nothing. There's nothing.
You leave me alone now. You leave me alone now.

A masterpiece and a modern classic.
I almost suffered a panic attack after watching this it's so powerful.
Growing up in a rural Nordic village I could totally see this happening and it is a very vivid account of what pier pressure is capable of, it absolutely brings out the worst in man.
Mads Mikkelsen is brilliant but he doesn't have to carry it as the whole casting is excellent, even the child actor does a stellar performance.

I believe movies are made to teach us something. The Hunt shows us not only the troubles of this sensitive topic, but also how easy it is to hate someone. How easy it is to become monster by trying to do the "right thing". This movie shows us the need to stay civilised as much as we can, no matter what we may think. Because our truth may be not as clear as it seems and we should never lower ourselves to the level we despise. It is easy to judge, but hard to repair what was damaged. Few headless words can destroy others lives forever.
