Kind of shocked to see the poor ratings. I thought this was a very creative "freaky friday turns dark" concept. Fun and twisted. Nice twist at the end which wasn't too obvious but kind of there all along.
The most fun I had watching a movie in a while and definitely something new in a world of remakes, reboots and prequels.

I really liked this, was a great setup and the dialogue was very well done.

Lighting was done suuuper well and I thought all the actors gave great performances AND proxy-performances as if they were someone else inside their bodies.

Really fun and had some great surprises.

Watched It’s What’s Inside with Iva in my room. Awesome! Loved the filming style. So many cool shots. Hilarious interactions with everyone. Loved all the characters. Fun concept too. I was glued watching it and trying to figure out who was who. I called that it wasn’t Forbes in his body originally. Solid ending with a fun twist. Connor 10, normal 9. 🎛

First 10-20 minutes was slowly introducing characters, then it just blown into action and ended as quickly as it started. Very interesting plot with open end.

Also cinematography is very well done, there are many clever scenes which makes the movie even better.

This was a lot. but by god loved it. The cinematography, the storytelling, the acting. It was all off from the beginning but seemingly all woven into this big ugly sweater that really enjoyed wrapping myself in. It missed a lot of things but somehow made something really different, reallų new. In a world full of remakes and recycled concepts, it was nice to see something a little fresh.

I went into It's What's Inside completely blind, and I really enjoyed the way the movie unfolds. Because of that, I will try to keep this review very high level to not spoil too much so that people can still enjoy the twists and turns. The whole movie is heavily stylized, with everything awash in neon colors, mainly blues and reds. The camera will zoom in and out of focus, emphatically announcing its presence. The editing is equally in your face, with frequent split screens and cuts that slide between different images. I found these stylistic flourishes to be enjoyable, though they are certainly over the top at times. Compounded with its zany concept, the direction makes the movie feel like it is bursting with ideas and energy. Also, the entire cast does an admirable job, always feeling believable as their characters even when the movie might be asking too much from them. I've been a fan of Alycia Debnam-Carey for a while, and it's great to see her in this as well. I did have a few criticisms though. The movie takes a while to get to the initial concept, and from that initial concept, it takes a bit to get to the main conflict. ]Once that main conflict arrives, it's really fun to watch it unfold -- I just wish the beginning was cut down. Also, the concept is ripe for interesting thematic, character-driven, and sociopolitical commentary. I don't think this movie fully achieves that though, instead using it for a very surface level exploration. It's hard to explain without spoilers, but it could have done so much more with the dynamics and backstories of its characters. However, it's still fairly entertaining despite that, and though it has missed potential here, it isn't wasted in my opinion.

Overall, I recommend this movie if you're looking for a stylish comedy-thriller focused on younger characters with a fascinating concept.

I loved the idea of this one. It can get a bit too high school melodrama heavy, but overall the science aspect and constant perspective shifts was tremendously enjoyable to me. 7.5

Bravo to the director! Taking an interesting concept, he didn't bother with just a thriller. Where, aka "Darkness", the viewers with a notepad in their hands would follow who is in whose body. But he went further, twisting the possibility of tracking to overload right from the beginning with editing. After all, this is how this generation perceives information. Class
