Spermageddon

Two narrative threads - one is an emerging love story between two awkward teens, Jens and Lisa, who are having sex for the first time and the other is an eventful quest of Simon the Semen and his friends to reach the golden goal, the Egg.
[Annecy '24] With a degree of irreverence and incorrectness adequate to be entertaining, the film always manages to border on the vulgar, but without being so. It may use excessive double meanings and word games as a comic resource, from the names of the protagonists, Cumilla and Simen, but it is witty and entertaining, has good musical scenes and a Pixar aesthetic that helps make attractive the design of the characters who, however, are somewhat basic. It also addresses some important topics, such as sexual education and family planning, which provides a less superficial look than other films of this style.
