A Mistake

In the midst of a new scheme to publicly report surgeons’ performance, a gifted surgeon’s life is thrown into disarray as her colleagues begin to close ranks, and even her partner, a nurse at the hospital, turns her back on her.

Anything with Elizabeth Banks is a must-watch for me. I find her acting weirdly satisfying, and the roles she chooses always have an impact. I won't lie though, I wasn't too sure about the accent work, as it took me out a few times. What I was sure of was the story that tackles sensitive and heavy topics in the medical industry. Topics government agencies and administrators would love to bury. From the lack of morals to unethical mismanagement, we hear it all too often. One life-changing mistake spiralling onto another, leaving us to question the blame. Pacing is a little off, but I appreciated everything it had to say.
Extremely blah, boring to me
I watched the preview and wasn't sure it was a NZ made movie or not until someone said "the patient us un ah crutucul cundushun" or similar. It's on my watchlist...
