Very well made and acted French-made adaptation of the novel of same name written by Harlan Corben. Highly recommended. We don't get smart thrillers like this enough! Great turn by Kristin Scott Thomas - but the whole cast is great!

Dites le à tout le monde, Canet filme avec justesse le manque de l'être cher, aidé par un Cluzet au sommet de son art. Rythmé et poignant !

A good mystery thriller that manages to keep up the suspense throughout. A few unexpected twists make it just excellent entertainment.

A decent page-turner with a clear point of reference for the films that inspired it. It’s pretty fun and tense in the moment. However, there’s nothing of substance to be found here, and the more thought you put into the details of the story when it has shown all of its cards, the less sense it makes. The filmmaking is very bland and anonymous, if it had made some stronger choices this could’ve easily been on the same level as some of Fincher’s schlockier efforts. Right now it’ll have to settle for being slightly better than one of those annual Liam Neeson films. The acting’s pretty great, the score and song choices suck.
