Yeah, it's a bit cringe and whatever, but not really out of step with the original series at all, so that's not really a fair criticism against it.

I loved that they kept to the original build. Sitcom like with childish jokes and terrible cgi, etc. But it's completely unwatchable with that irritatingly, annoying, repetitive, loud, rude, harsh, terrible, awful, headbangingly, urkingly, ugly, laugh track. I lasted about 10 mins before I wanted a bolt of a steaming hot thunder to hit both my ears and melt my brain. I genuinely do not remember the series being this bad. Yes, I was a child, but I expected the movie to be watchable. If it wasn't for the laughtrack, this would have been watchable and potentially even okay.
