The war against the Bugs continues! A Federation Starship crash-lands on the distant Alien planet OM-1, stranding beloved leader Sky Marshal Anoke and several others, including comely but tough pilot Lola Beck. This film is absolutely silly with insane logic but damn was I entertained. Don’t expect to follow a rational plot or deep dialogue. But if you’re looking for crazy action, stupid jokes, and iffy cgi, you’re in the right place. I found the religious fanaticism amusing, both from the sky marshal and Holly. Holly is definitely my favorite character. She’s so dumb but felt like an important part of the crew. Her convincing Lola was a great way to wrap up her and Lola’s story. “I got religion. I got it bad.” It was also great to see Rico back in action

I was not expecting such an epic and badass third act. The action is exactly what I was looking for in a movie. Made up weapons being used all at once like we saw. I wish we got to see more of the Marauder suits in action but what we saw was beautiful shitty action. I was excited to see the Q-Bomb blow up the planet but I laughed so hard when I realized they needed to save money on the budget so they covered it with the kiss 😂

Like the second one, this one is just bad. Once the initial movie was brilliant. This is crap.

Starship Troopers 3: Marauder is a return to the B-movie camp of the original, but the talent’s not there to pull it off. The Bug War continues as Col. Johnny Rico is charged with a top secret mission to save a stranded crew that’s stuck on a bug world. Casper Van Dien returns and is joined by Jolene Blalock, but their performances are uneven and aren’t able to pull off the same cheesiness that made the original so fun. Additionally, the special effects are atrociously bad and drag the whole film down. While nothing is done particularly well in Starship Troopers 3: Marauder, it’s still able to provide some interesting satire that’s mildly entertaining at times.
