Hard Rain is one of my guilty pleasures. Beginning with the rainy scenario, the actors, the actually good story with some plot twists. I simply enjoy it.
Been meaning to get around to this one, honestly it surprised me in a good way.
I believe this had production issues, despite this however it has some really good, action, suspense, plot twists and a great cast.
Straight out of the 90s handbook, robbing an armored car in the middle of a town that is going deeper and deeper under water with a storm as well as a heavy damn adding to it, the film gets more intense as it moves forward.
Well worth a watch, also for a bad guy Morgan Freeman's character really grows on you, also a change seeing Randy Quaid as the sheriff in this.
Hell of a stage they had to create. So 90s
The money tempts almost everyone. Even Morgan. ;) It's not bad, pretty good action movie in a catastrophic setting.
Bad idea to do a robbery in the middle of a flood.
_Hard Rain_ had some moments, but I couldn't help but expect more from a film featuring Morgan Freeman. While it had the potential for a thrilling disaster flick, it fell short of my expectations. Freeman's talent is undeniable, but the film's execution didn't fully capitalize on it.
