So good I will have to watch it again and again, repeat ad infinitum good!

Kev hates hippy dippy Eco Nut Zero con but this wasn't just bad guys take over building, good girl kills em, the end. Like die hard with oestrogen but not excessively.

Being from the UK myself I completely get it. What a great film . Was funny, and no it isn't mission impossible!

Better than average hostage-type move. Some parts you have to suspend belief, but overall acceptable.
7.5/10

The wife & my son gave it a 7/10. I was looking at more like a 5. The action wasn't too bad, but the dialogue, some of the acting and the plot was absolute pants. Talking to each other thru inch thick glass while one's dangling about 300ft up in the air as if they were in a lift together?? Erm nope.
Unless you've absolutely nothing else to watch, don't bother.

>"999, what's your emergency?"
"Are you FUCKING kidding me?"

Daisy Ridley's origin story in this is that she used to climb on her kitchen cabinets when she was a kid.

I love Daisy so much, if only they would've let her cook for more than 20 minutes.

Pretty sure a squeeze from Daisy could fix me too.

I don't know if 6/10 is fair, but there are a couple of disappointing decisions that make this feel more odd than it should. Mostly to do with certain characters, pacing, and shortcutting. The first 30 minutes start strong with quick comedy and simple exposition. Daisy Ridley was great too, you can tell she's dedicated. Then 'Die Hard' kicks in and things slow down. I loved the politics and unpredictability but as soon as the pace picks up, the quality descends and then it randomly ends. Like most Campbell movies, it's really good but really bad. Pleasantly surprised by the motifs/details though, especially with the bold shots of (definitely not corrupt) Canary Wharf.

Nice action scenes and acting from Daisy but misses a better script

It was ok, but it could have been so much better. Big part of the movie is just Daisy going up and down to the scaffolding and that's pretty much the most of it. The rest, a bit of action (which was pretty ok), but a bit more would have done wonders. Clive Owen's character is just a cameo (I wonder how much he got paid for about 10 min of movie screen. Probably more than what I make in 5 years). Plot was fine, nothing to make a fuzz. Acting, the only highlight is Daisy Ridley. She can act when she wants and is not behind some stupid ass dialog and lightsabers. A middle of the road and a bit, a 6 for me

Cleaner is a good-not-great thriller in the "Die
Hard" mold that gets an extra lift from
Campbell's skillful direction and from Ridley,
who is slowly but surely showing herself to
be a performer of wide range and appeal
