Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle

Nerdy accountant Harold and his irrepressible friend, Kumar, get stoned watching television and find themselves utterly bewitched by a commercial for White Castle. Convinced there must be one nearby, the two set out on a late-night odyssey that takes them deep into New Jersey. Somehow, the boys manage to run afoul of rednecks, cops and even a car-stealing Neil Patrick Harris before getting anywhere near their beloved sliders.

I guess it depends on how high your standards are when watching this movie. With weed/beer this movie is the best. Without it you see right through the flimsy story and bad special effects.

Advertisement done right! I laugh my ass off on these stereotypical jokes. So glad that this movie was made!

> "I want 30 sliders, 5 french fries, and 4 large cherry cokes."

Oh man. This is so dumb but in all the right ways. There are jokes that are really funny, and then there are really dumb moments that make you laugh and you are trying to figure out why. Truly a product of it's time. I was craving a burger by the end.

Guilty pleasure movie no doubt! I will always turn this on for some comfort content and love every minute of it! Is it great? Not necessarily, but it has its purpose and works wonderfully for me!

Buddy comedy that's actually pretty funny. Chemistry between Harold and Kumar is top notch - can't imagine these jokes getting through censorship nowadays. Comedy gold most of the time and Neil Patrick Harris on MDMA.
One of my ultimate feel-good movies.

Wacky hijinks abound in the stoner comedy _Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle_. John Cho and Kal Penn star as two best friends who get a hankering for some White Castle burgers, but to get them they’ll have to overcome racist cops, an escaped cheetah, and Neil Patrick Harris. The comedy it pretty outrageous and delivers some good laughs. But there’s also a lot of vulgarity, crudeness, and stoner humor. And, some of the shenanigans are overly stupid and idiotic. Additionally, the characters aren’t especially likable; particularly Kumar, who comes off as a selfish jerk most of the time. Still, for what it is _Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle_ is entertaining and bit of fun.

Great over the top comedy. Is it perfect? Not even close, but with some drinks you will find yourself laughing quite a bit. Enjoy!
