The feeling I got from this documentary is that they tried to justify the invention of the most powerful killing machinery, and that's outrageous to me. Like his regret and actions after seeing the consequences is enough to counter his creation. And there's no lamer excuse than saying "if we didn't get there first the Nazis would have" or "he didn't make the decision to drop it on civilians ". None of those excuses him from creating a weapon of mass destruction that he always knew was going to be used to kill all living things on earth wherever it was dropped.
