This is an amazing movie!! Expect to experience all sorts of beautiful feelings and expect tesrs...oh there will be tears but of joy! The acting is top, the story itself is so grounded and reaches so deep it makes me wanna watch with all the people I love. One thing the story communicates really well throughout the movie, is that older people can be young in their hearts and the only thing that becomes bigger as we age is not just a number, but our capacity to love, to understand, to sympathise. Absolutely loved it!

This is a heartwarming true story. Vince Vaughn stars as Joe Scaravella, a son who opens an Italian restaurant staffed by four feisty nonnas to honor his late mother's memory. The real stars, though, are the veteran actresses: Lorraine Bracco, Susan Sarandon, Talia Shire, and Brenda Vaccaro…who bring warmth and charm to their roles. While Vaughn's signature humor feels a tad forced, the cast's chemistry and the film's gentle humor make it a pleasant watch. A sweet, feel good movie perfect for a family movie night. 7.5/10

Such a lovely wholesome movie. It's been a while since I saw a new Vince Vaughn movie. He's supported by a great cast too.

A nice easy watch. A story of Family, a dream and a restaurant. Based on a true story.
A very good cast who all played their parts very well.
I just think it over long, so it does drag a little.

A heartwarming story about humanity, resilience and believing in the values that really count.
Excellent acting and the fact that it is based on a true story make it very entertaining watch.
I believe that the real restaurant will be booked out for the next 6 month after this movie.

What is a family film? A film that tells a story of a family struggles with happy ending that warms the audience heart and puts wide smiles on your face. Nonnas is such a classic warm hearted family film to enjoy specifically on Mother's Day.

And if you ask me why Nonnas should be watched on big screen? Simply because the actors truly brought a different level on the quality of the film, mamely Vince Vaughn,Linda Cardellini, Joe Manganiello (yes, he can act), and the 4 seasoned actress Susan Sarandon, Brenda Vaccaro, Talia Shire (the iconic Rocky's wife) and Lorraine Bracco.

With a low budget but very comfortable acting showcased, the actors lifted the simple story inspired by the real life restaurant called Enoteca Maria into a memorable warm hearted story. Of course with almost all Italian curses cut out, just kidding. You know how fiery Italians when they gathered.

Highly recommended. Bring your elders and your family.

Films like these are Netflix's chance to redeem themselves from axing so many beloved shows prematurely. A wholesome show that celebrates nonna, love, and family.
