Light hearted comedy with everything you like about Steve Martin that at the bottom has a serious and relatable topic.

Also Martin Short is absolutely amazing every scene he´s in. Hilarious performance.

Prime Steve Martin will forever be comfort content. It’s charming, silly, feel good, and easy to enjoy! I enjoyed this much more than the recent remake! Even if it’s not my favorite Steve Martin, this will surely be one I toss on plenty more times.

_Father of the Bride_ is a heartwarming tale that’ll make you laugh and cry. Steve Martin stars as George Banks, a family man whose daughter returns home from studying abroad in Europe with the shocking news that she’s engaged to be married. Co-starring Diane Keaton, Kimberly Williams, and Martin Short, the film has an excellent cast. However, it’s Martin’s performance that steals the show, and the comedy really plays to his strengths. But, there are also some really good dramatic and emotional moments too; which makes for an especially touching father/daughter relationship. A wonderful and charming comedy, _Father of the Bride_ is an inspired film.

I though it was really sweet and charming and just an all round nice, feel good movie.
Very pleasant to watch with some good chuckles along the way.

A feel-good classic, Father of the Bride is perfect for fans of family-centric comedies. It’s funny, sweet, and surprisingly poignant—especially for parents navigating life’s milestones. Pair it with tissues and a laugh-ready crowd.

Bryan’s Danish was horrendous, nice try though.
