Two people in a car, yet absolutely compelling. Many twists and turns, keeping you gripped from beginning to end.
Just goes to prove once again, you don’t need a big budget and special effects, only a great storyline and a couple good actors.
Hallow Road is a brief, gripping thrillery-horror short that is twisty, chilling and fraught with trauma. Fantastically tense, a rollercoaster right from the off and doesn't let you go until the dying moments. Podcast-on-film with a twist of horror, this couldn't have been more targeted at me if it tried. Great minimalist film making.
vibes of scary stories told around campfire (I mean it in a good way, very ambient; and I love how it takes place on the 31st of october, feels fitting)
**999, what's your emergency?** I was on board until half way. I like bottle episodes and the resolution was ok, I get what they were going for. But idk, it didn't stick the landing. Loved a lot of the shots though. To make a story set in a car visually engaging, well done. _Enjoyable but optional watch._
This could’ve easily been an audio only experience.
Just a movie with 2 people in a car
